I’m Sherita King, a Certified Trichologist, Founder and Executive Director of Impact Community Health & Wellness Coalition. I am passionate about empowering underserved communities with the knowledge, resources, and access needed to make informed decisions about preventive health.

Through the Gateway Trichology Initiative™, we use hair and scalp health as a gateway to greater health awareness. By recognizing visible indicators that may be connected to underlying health concerns, we help individuals understand when further evaluation and appropriate referral to a qualified healthcare professional may be beneficial.

Our mission is to improve community health through preventive education, accessible screenings, trusted partnerships, and connections to healthcare resources. Together, we can increase awareness, encourage better outcomes with earlier action, and build healthier communities!
